AMAZING
I am a food connoisseur, and I must say that there is no other place in the Bay Area that matches the service, quality, and the care that goes into every plate brought out of the kitchen. It almost brings a tear to my eye. I dream about the Van's the food, it is that good. There is not one thing on the menu I would not recommend, however there is one thing that everyone simply must try...the Genoese Pork chop is to die for and I get it almost everytime I go. The chop takes some time to prepare but that only gives you more time to sample their drinks and scrumptious appetizers. Will you mary me Van's??? citykitty's review

Great Views Make Up For Bad Wine
The Van's is a peninsula party, and everyone is invited. This unpretentious restaurant prides itself on good food with a spectacular view of the Bay. The only downfall of the Van's is their bar wine list, which is marginal; the full list is better. But the bar area is a fun and relaxing place to hang out, and you'll always find a friendly face in the regulars who perch there. Good for couples, corporate dining, or private events for modest-sized groups.
