If you're an electrical engineer, a student, a hobbyist, a teacher or just a person who likes to shop, Jameco is a great resource. They have a huge selection of electronics and mechanical stuff. Recently they added an entire section of their catalog for robotics, and it includes toys and starter kits for learning. They have a website at www.jameco.com, and you can order their catalog. But the best thing is that they're in our neighborhood and you can drive to their warehouse to order and/or pick up items. Considering the number of items they have in stock, and the range of expertise their customers have, the staff behind the counter is very patient and helpful
