Finally...a website servicing the Peninsula!
Finally, a mixture of Citysearch, Craigslist and Yelp for the Peninsula! This is great because the websites listed has catered to the "City" with limited knowledge and access to all the great things of San Mateo County. You have your reviews from clients, networking about other services and coupons/deals for patrons. And it's ALL LOCAL!
You forgot the East Bay ;) - it seems like every site discussing "San Francisco" also discusses the East Bay in excruciating detail when we're here too, and you don't have to take a bridge from S.F. to get here!
San Jose also gets more coverage in cyberspace than the Peninsula. I've lived in the Bay Area most of my life and still do not have a great deal of knowledge about the many hidden gems of San Mateo and the mid-Peninsula. But thanks to sites like Smalltown, that is about to change!
I agreewho had any idea that the midpeninsula had so much to offer, but then if one thinks about the history it does make sense. The peninsula has a very rich and long history; in some cases as old as the great city of San Francisco... Lets keep it local!!!! Go Smalltown.com!!!!!
I couldn't agree more. It's nice to have a local company focusing on San Mateo and bringing me information that's all about my town - making things more conveninet for me and allowing me to support the local merchants and services. Living and working in San Mateo means Smalltown if perfectly suited to my needs.
