Have any of you worked with a pest control company that you recommend? I would love to hear about your experience and which company you recommend.

We had subterranean termites and used Orkin. As I recall there may have been an option to transfer the service plan to a new owner (handy if you plan to sell the house anytime soon). See webcard below.

We've been using Clark for several years. We live in Redwood Shores, which as far as I can tell is built on a giant ant hill. Every year we would be invaded by ants and couldn't even sit around the pool and dangle our legs in because you'd be sitting in the middle of an ant trail. Since Clark started we've never had ants in the house again and can cool our toes whenever we like. We have regular monthly service and if any problems come up in between service (for something they have treated) they will come out right away and take care of - no charge.

Based on a positive recommendation from Local2Me a few years ago, we've been happily using Clear Skies for about five years now. Their webcard is attached below. George is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. If you get the regular service and ever notice a problem, he comes out right away for free. We only had to use that once when I noticed some hornets starting to build a nest in our eaves one Saturday. He was there within a couple of hours, happy to help. We pay $70 every three months.
