Any experience with PODS moving and storage?
I will be relocating to the east bay soon, a distance of less than 25 miles. I am thinking of using PODS moving service. Has anyone had any experience with them? From browsing the web I gather that satisfaction depends a lot on the location of the franchise. I read some real horror stories in FL, NY and OR. I would appreciate any information about dealings with the bay area franchise.
We just used PODS (bay area) during our kitchen remodel. I had also read the awful reviews from other areas in the country, but it seemed like the best solution for us (we kept the POD on our driveway during construction) so I took a chance. I couldn't have been more delighted with the service. The person who took my order over the phone was pleasant, personable, knowledgeable and professional. Our POD driver was on time and professional as well. We had a unique situation in that we have a VERY FUSSY neighbor and the POD was going to be placed close to his property underneath a tree. I knew he would freak-out if even a small branch on the tree was broken off during the POD delivery. I talked to the driver about this and he expertly delivered and picked up the POD with out so much as disturbing a leaf. Hopefully our experience was not unique and they really are this good in the bay area. Good luck!
