This place is not like the old garages with a greasy mechanic on duty. This is a professional shop with clean cut employees who treat their customers with courtesy and attention to detail. I have personally recieved better service here than in most department stores I go to! Since auto repair is expensive, I'd rather go somewhere I'll be treated well. They have a great website if you want to check it out. I have attached their webcard too.
Absolutely customer friendly (a lost art in today's generation), honest, willing to work with customer on their terms and no pressure. Prices are very reasonable. Their work and work ethics are thorough and focused. Truly a treasure to find and hold on to. My car was saved by their professionalism, so thank you so much!!!!!
I was completely dissappointed with the service I received from Spiteri's because they didn't fix my breaks. In fact, now they are even worse. One of their staff members offended us and called us names, with absolutely no basis. I took my car back to their shop twice. At the end, after wasting my time and my money, they just washed their hands and refused to fix the breaks that they had worked on. Terrible!
Spiteri's has provided thorough, honest, courteous and excellent service for both my cars -- '93 Toyota Camry Stationwagon and '07 Honda Civic Hybrid.
I have taken both of my GMC SUV's to Spiteri's for routine service, tires and what I would call advanced services. My experience with them continues to be a pleasant one and I appreciate that they dont' try to oversell extra services. I find them to be knowledgable and honest which is not the case with the local GMC dealer.
I have been bringing my Lexus to Spiteri's for a year now, and I find them to be WONDERFUL. I trust them entirely. They are professional, courteous, accommodating and very informative. I never need to think about my car again as long as I have the people at Spiteri's to take care of it and tell me what to do. This is 5* service at its best.
Brought my car in to have them check it out because I was having some issue at the dealership. They found the problem and they told me I should go to the dealership since the item was under warranty. The were friendly, honest, always answered my questions and helped me out beyond the call of duty. They even spoke to the dealership and got my money back for a previous job they (the dealership) did that wasn't preformed correctly. I will never go anywhere else!!!! Run don't walk to Spiteri's if you have any automotive needs!
I've taken my vehicles to Spiteri's for the past six years. They've always been very honest and communicative. Their inspections are very thorough, and they're great about prioritizing repairs. Their work is impeccable. It's nice to go to a place you can trust.
Spiteri's has been taking care of my 1978 El Camino for over ten years now, since first installing a new engine, and I have utmost confidence in their mechanical abilities and am always impressed by their excellent customer support. Dealing with mechanics can sometimes be frustrating for a female not overly familiar with engines, but at Spiteri's I am always treated respectfully and always receive thorough information regarding recommended repairs. And, of course, the shuttle service to and from work is a great convenient bonus!
Spiteri's is the best place to take your car. I am new to the bay area and don't know many people here. I needed car service and was referred to Spiteri's by a friend. I could not be happier. They are very professional, honest, and thorough. I am grateful to have found them.
Have been bringing three cars to Spiteri's for past nine years. The repairs have been fully explained and completed in a timely manner. I have always been informed of conditions which call for future repair or monitoring. I have only had to return twice to correct problems not solved by the servicing. The last time was for a pesky electrical problem in a 10 year old car. Chuck and his crew solved the issue with patience and perseverence.
I had my car in for a smog check and my service person pointed out a few "housekeeping" matters that could be taken care of should I return in a month or so for an oil change. Apparently, the mechanic I have been using up until now had overlooked these noncritical items under the hood. I was extremely impressed with the friendliness, on time service and professionalism of this business. The waiting area is clean and tidy...the polar opposite of where I've been doing business. I'll be back!
I've taken my car to Spiteri's for over 10 years, and they've always done right by me. Work is thorough and professional, even on the most complicated jobs. I've yet to have a problem that they couldn't fix. And just as important they're honest. They take the time to explain everything in detail, down to drawing little diagrams to explain exactly what's wrong and what needs to be done to fix it. They've given advice about potential problems that maybe don't need fixed right away, or that might not be worth the money to ever fix. And like the previous reviewer, on at least one occasion they referred me to a dealer for an issue I wasn't aware was covered under warranty. They're not the cheapest place in town, but the price is probably fair for the service you get. If you only need something routine you can probably get it done cheaper elsewhere. But if you want to be sure the work is done right, you can't go wrong with Spiteri's.
I have been taking my cars to Spiteri's for the past year and always have been handled with experienced professionals. With my latest experience Spiteri's literally saved me $4,400 as my transmission on my 2003 Acura TL went kaput on me. Chuck took the time to research this thru Acura and found their was a transmission recall for the 2002 Acura TL. He spoke to Acura on my behalf (numerous times that day), drafted a letter and took my car to their shop himself. They were not going to cover this and in the end Chuck was able to convince them we are looking at the same issue between the 2002 and 2003 models. In the end Acura agreed to fix the problem costing me only $500 of the $4,900 total cost. THANK you CHUCK and the Spiteri's Auto family!!
