Vivace takes it to the next level by being one of the best Italian restaurants on the Peninsula! I brought my friends here when they were visiting from LA, and we all agreed that the warmth and atmosphere was perfect for a evening of wining and dining. The gnocchi gorgonzola and osso bucco were big hits, as is the ubiquitous but crowd-favorite calamari. Either we were there on a busy night or something, but it was pretty noisy inside. The food still rocked and I have definitely put them on my must-eat list.
I have been coming to this restaurant for the last 4 years for special events and anniversaries and I have to say that the over all experience is wonderful. It is a great place to spend time with your loved ones.
On a whim, my husband and I went to this wonderful Italian restaurant on Ralston Avenue. The decor is nothing special (though I think they have renovated since I was there), but the food was exceptional. It was by far the best Italian I've had on the Peninsula. The lasagna was delicious and melted in my mouth. Save room for the dessert; the berry crisp was delicious.
