A great place for Italian food. One of my wife's favorites, on the corner of Ralston Ave and 6th St. Anthony, the owner is a pleasure.
Don't miss it.
I tried Caprino's for lunch and I have to say, it's great. First, we split an order of fried calamari, which was light, crispy and fresh - not at all chewy or rubbery. Then I had a cobb salad - which was good but not spectacular. The design of the place is really nice and feels much more upscale than the menu prices. The service was prompt and friendly. The waiter knew the menu well. I'll be back next time I'm in Belmont.
So I lived in Italy for a while and I have to say the calzone here is quite tasty. I had lunch with my friends and the atmosphere was quite nice...
come down and check it out...
If your travels take you to Belmont you owe it to yourself to check out Caprinos. The staff is low-key and friendly, the atmosphere is refined, warm and inviting and the food and service is top notch. Great selection of pastas, pizzas, seafood and grilled fare. Last time in I had the calamari appetizer (delicious and fresh with a crisp breading and two sauces to dip into) and the Thai Noodle salad with a peanut dressing that was light and full of flavor without being overpowering. A completely satisfying meal. Highly recommended.
