Wear your action slacks
Wear your "comfortable jeans" because you're going to need the extra wiggle room after eating here. The portions are HUGE (a bit TOO huge) but those needing to fill their bellies won't be disappointed. Coffee is weak, so you may want to stop on B-game Avenue grab one on your way while you wait for a table. Recommend splitting a meal (kids, too) if you're not in need of gourding yourself. Moderate prices and a family-friendly staff keeps folks coming back, many of them are 20+ year customers. After your heaving breakfast, trod across the street to Washington Park for a recovery nap. You're going to need it! : ) A nice way to spend your day! Toonces's review

Worth the wait
If you don't mind waiting when crowded, Christie's is a sure-fire bet some of the best breakfasts and environments on the Peninsula. A regular weekend stop for me, Christie's serves up a varied menu, uber-generous portions, and a staff that feels like family because it's owned by a family. You never feel rushed and can take your time to enjoy your meal. Come hungry and linger awhile...you'll go back again and again.
