I am going to be in need of infant care in January and I'm not sure of where to turn. San Mateo would be the best, but Burlingame, Foster City, and Belmont could work as well...

The Jewish Community Center in Foster City is an amazing facility and they have top notch day care and schools. I think the youngest kids they accept are 2-year-olds. I know you asked about infant care, but I recommend that you start thinking now about future day care because the best facilities, like the PJCC, are popular and require you to register at least a year ahead of time.
