We just used Best Carpet Care to clean our carpets throughout the house. The positives: - They did a good cleaning job, especially on our stairs (but we had to pay extra for that - see below). - They were punctual, courteous, and pleasant. The negatives: - Their quoted price of $104 only covered steaming. It did not cover stairs, shampooing, spot cleaning, or Scotchguard. Our final bill was $350. Bottom line: - I'd call around to see if I could beat that price before hiring them again. Regards, Judy

I don't know these companies but I can recommend an excellent carpet cleaner. His name is Roger Weisberg and his company is Tri-Star Carpets. His number is 650-365-7707. I have used him for quite a few years. He recently cleaned my 10-year-old carpet and it looked like new when he was finished. His prices are on a par with other quality carpet cleaners.
