Rent camping trailer / RV for a weekend?
Hi Folks, My wife and I are interested in trying out a trailer or RV for a weekend in Big Sur - we have gone before, but never with our daughter. The only place I found to rent one is in Santa Rosa - too far the wrong way. Anybody know of a way to rent one for a weekend around the Peninsula or en route to Big Sur? Thanks, -Vadim
Try Condon Lumber on 25th Ave in San Mateo. We've rented trucks from them a few years ago. At that time they were part of RV America and had RVs on the lot. RVs and Lumber? Sounds crazy but true...

You can call them at 831-722-0551. We have a 23' Winnebago Brave that we took to the KOA a couple weeks ago and noticed the rentals there. Have a good time!

There may also be a local rental place for el Monte RV. My girlfriends and I rented an RV for a long weekend last year (Oct 2007) and cruised the California Central Coast. We rented thru El Monte. They had a location in Burlingame at the time, but i think one in San Francisco and one in San Mateo or REdwood City.
