We supply your racing suit, helmet, and instruction to get you started. You supply the thrills, racing wheel to wheel on any of our three courses, complete with hairpins, high speed sweeping turns, and an elevation change! But fear not. It's easy. It's fun. Speed Racer eat your heart out...
A friend had been talking this place up and trying to get me to go. I had been on the amusement park go karts and was unimpressed, but this is in a league of it's own. The racers here can be pretty serious and everyone really goes all out. And with the helmet and the racing suit they provide you really find yourself getting into it. And the carts really move! With the low center of gravity and the tight turns you really can get your pulse racing. Adrenaline junkies will love this place. It would be great place for a company party or group event. The NEED for SPEED!!!
Of course Toonces the Driving Cat loves this place...and it's a lot safer than that decrepid white car I always crash. Anytime I need a speed fix and don't want to again be awarded the dreaded California Vehicle Code Section 23103, GoKart Racer delivers. If you can get past the cheesy how-to video and 1977 JC Penney cotton jumpsuits, you'll never want to leave. And the 20-minute course gave me such an upper-body workout that I was sore for two days. Your position gets posted on every lap, so it's a GREAT opportunity to one-up your smarty-pants friend, spouse, or boss (ok, maybe not your boss), and a great place for an employee gathering. They have a mini-restaurant and bar on site as well (but you know the rules!). And the best part? Unlike Disneyland's 5-mph Old Time cars ride, you'll never hear anyone say, "NO BUMPING."
