Wanted: Used bike in good condition
Hi neighbors, We are looking for a used bike in good condition. Probably a 10-speed, but we're not set on any specific make or model. If you have a bike that's gathering dust in your garage, here's an opportunity to get rid of it :) In additiion, if anyone has advice or tips on a good bicycle shop that sells used bikes, we'd appreciate that too. Thanks Judy judithbrown@hotmail.com
Play it again sports has all kinds of used and new sports equipment including bikes. Check 'em out.
As mentioned, Play It Again Sports is a great place to find gently used (and sometimes even new) sports equipment. Some other places to try are the local Goodwill shops, or maybe even bicycle shops. Shops in my former area of residence used to repair abandoned bikes, host bike swaps, or sell bikes on behalf of others; maybe Talbot's or Cyclepath (both in San Mateo) or the Schwinn shop on El Camino in Belmont would be a good resource (probably better to get fitted by a pro, anyway). Good luck!
I have a Diamond Back Ascent EX bike that was my husband's, is in great shape and ready to ride. Will sell! Come take a look if you'd like.
