Apex Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine
Well I know two very good Physical Therapy places Apex Physical Therapy, they have two locations (1) in San Mateo and (1) in San Carlos. Dave, John are absolutely amazing! Their all about taking the time and care you need to get you over your limitations. I should know I got hit by a car and could hardly move, how I'm working out and getting back into the swing of things. Call the number below and ask them for the San Carlos location if you need that one.
I've been going to Apex. They are very good.
I have been to Apex in San Mateo (they are affiliated) and they were excellent ... and I have been to too many physical therapy establishments.
My husband, son and I have all been to Apex Physical Therapy in San Mateo. They are great and also have a location in San Carlos.
I can personally attest to the professional and personal care at Apex PT. I went to the Foster City location, but I believe the staff alternates between locations to accommodate patients. I blew out my achilles tendon and Dave Matoso and Robin was my therapist. He was candid about my recovery, serious about what I needed to do and held me accountable. He also has a fantastic sense of humor -- the entire staff is welcoming and personable. Instead of rehabbing in a sterile, depressing environment, I was around others (patients included) who empathized with my frustrations and celebrated my milestones. I still pop in on occasion to say hello. I hope to never need PT again, but if so, I would have no reservations whatsoever about returning to Apex.
