question about refinishing wood floors
Hi All, We are planning on having our wood floors in our kitchen refinished. Should we move all the food, dishes, etc from the cabinets? I am not sure how much dust this will kick up but everyone keeps telling me it is a lot. I don't want to open the cabinets and have a quarter inch thick of wood shavings on the dishes. What have other people done in the past? Thanks in advance.
Here's a discussion thread posted earlier on Smalltown that you may fnid helpful.
Most of the time the dust is minimal. The floor sander will have a dust bag attached, however there's no such thing as "dust free" sanding. I would put plastic over the kitchen cabinets, that would prevent dust going inside. Zoltan Gode
