Hair Stylist Needed for Grad (SC, RWC, Belmont, Sa
My daughter is graduating 8th grade and would like to get her hair done for the graduation dance in mid-June. The lady who cuts my hair isn't so great at styling, so I'm asking you guys -- can you recommend someone FOR STYLING ONLY in San Carlos, Belmont, RWC, or San Mateo? My daughter has long hair and would like some sort of "up-do."
Try Strands Salon. in San Mateo They are well priced and one of the popular places for "up-dos" with the local graduates and prom-goers.
I like my hairdresser a lot, but I am in my late forties. Maybe your daughter can ask her girlfriends who does their hair? The young people like completely different things. Maybe your daughter would like a French braid? Or maybe purple curls :-)? Have you considered pulling her hair in a French knot and decorate it with combs or barrettes? Let little strands of hair hang loose at the temples. It can look very classy. Or do you want her to go to a professional as a part of the whole "graduating experience," having somebody take care of her? I personally wouldn't trust somebody who I never saw before with such an important look. Perhaps you have a relative or a girlfriend who can come and "practice" with your daughter a bit in advance, try different styles? Just thinking aloud... I have a son who graduates from Middle school this year, it's so much easier!
Jeryl Calios = "too cool to be true" and your daughter will love her (so will her friends). Jeryl Andrea Calios Stylist, Make-Up Artist, Network Educator 415.810.8166 She is leaving Stilo salon at the end of this week to start her own business. I'm one of her clients. Jeryl always looks hot and has a great personality, but if you had a chance to see the finished product (her clients) you would be amazed. One draw back - Jeryl is pretty busy, but loves working with weddings, proms, etc...she gets really excited and into it...usually won't turn away that kind of work. Tell your daughter to have fun.
I recommend Cherise Cook at Trenz in Burlingame. 650-344-0350.
