The ants are here! We'd like to divert or get rid of them in a non-toxic way. Any ideas on companies or ways to do this? I'm not sure where they're coming in. Thanks ~ Deb

I wish I had an answer, but those ants are persistant. I tried and tried to get rid of mine using various eco- or non-toxic tricks and nothing worked. In increasing order: - Thoroughly washing away trails with soap and water and removing all possible attractants (they'll find something else, even crawling down the sink drain or eating bird seed) - Plugging the hole (they either chew through the plug or find a new hole) - Boric acid (no affect) - Diatomacious earth (no affect) - Poison ant bait (if you're patient will work for a while, but within a few weeks were back in even greater numbers) In the end the only thing that worked for me was to spray Raid directly in the hole, then plug it up. Worked like a charm, no more ants. You don't have to fog the whole room, just a small amount directly in the entry hole and right around it was enough. I feel like such an eco-criminal.
