I just found out that my Curves location in downtown SM is closing. I really liked the "women only, 30 minute workout" concept, and the downtown location was perfect for me. I'd like to know if anyone can recommend a replacement gym for me. Thanks for the help!

You might try the San Mateo location of Butterfly Life. Similar concept to Curves with exercise circuits and focus on women's fitness and exercise. The facility is relatively new and is set up nicely. Check them out the next time you're on Norfolk on the east side of 101 near 3rd avenue.

TRY SLENDER LADY ON B STREET, JAN IS TERRIFIC and they have the same equipment as curves just never crowded, and great one on one attention. They have a tredmill or two also, w/tanning and massage too I think...check it out!
