We offer smog checks (test & repair), oil changes, tune-ups, computer diagnosis and general maintenance for all foreign and domestic vehicles with a warranty of 12 months or 12,000 miles for parts and labor. We also specialize in muscle car repair and restoration. Our hours are M-F 7:30am to 5:30pm. We are located just south of Broadway before Carmelita. If you arrive by BART or train to collect your car, call ahead and we'll even pick you up at the station. We are ASE certified, brake and lamp licensed station.

Corvette, Muscle Car, or Collector Car Owners - why accept the inflated prices or be disappointed by the unfulfilled promises of so called automotive specialty shops? On Track does it all, courteously,correctly, and affordably! Disappointed with incorrect,careless work and long tie-up times that exposed my 65'Stingray to the elements, I took the advice of a friend in the Bay Area Corvette Club and took it to On Track. Mike, Bob, Steve and the rest of the team there are truly amazing. They corrected all existing problems other shops had made, and have maintained the car perfectly ever since. Their knowledge of muscle cars in amazing, and they thoughly research anything they don't know to the point where no one touches the car unless he knows exactly what needs to be done to make it factory correct. There is always at least one muscle or collector car in the shop whenever I come in. They recommend only work they feel is needed and understand how to work within a budget. Trustworthy, reliable service
Had lots of bad sounds on suspension when driving my car. My brother looked at it and said I needed new shocks, which would have been about $700 at best. I figured I'd go on smalltown and see what people said about local places in San Mateo. On-Track had great reviews so I called Mike and set up an appointment. Got there and Steve went on a ride with me to hear the different sounds my car was making. They then took a further look at it and found it to be a broken sway link. They were honest about the problem, and it cost me a WHOLE lot less than if I had done what my brother said. The great thing about it was, if they were like most mechanics (okay, some, I'm generalizing) they could've said 'you need new shocks as well' and I would have not known better, but they didn't. After it was fixed, Mike showed me the part that was broken and I drove away a very happy customer. I know how hard it is to find a good automotive repair shop, so give On Track a shot, they will do a great job at a great price.
