Who: Anyone with skills to share with young people aged 11-14. What: Teach students your profession or hobby in after-school apprenticeships. Students learn by doing as they propose an entrepreneurial business plan, create web pages, engineer their own car designs, paint a mural, plant a community garden, assess local air quality, and much, much more – all created by middle school students and Citizen Teachers like you! No teaching experience is necessary -- all volunteers receive training and are paired with support staff. When: Volunteers teach 11 sessions one afternoon a week for 90 minutes (typically Tuesday or Thursday from 4:30-6:00 pm – varies by campus). Our spring semester runs from February - May. To complicate matters the graveyard is haunted by a small army of restless spirits, including the most famous phantom of all, the Headless Horseman. At a party, Ichabod proposes marriage to Katrina, but is booted out by Brom and forced to make his way home through a terrible storm. In the dark, there's something shadowy and towering intent on taking Ichabod's life—the Headless Horseman! Poor Ichabod has to outrun the galloping phantom! Does he? No one knows for sure because the schoolmaster is never seen again.
