Can anyone recommend a good plumber?
A friend of mine is looking for a good plumber in the San Mateo area that can fix it quick and will still be reasonable?
I have used Boudreau Plumbing for many years at my home and office. They are responsible, affordable and courteous. I highly recommend them. But tell them you heard about them on Smalltown because they need to enhance their Webcard ;-)

Dittman is so reliable that they gave me a one hour window to wait for them, and they arrived in that small time span! (Nothing like the cable company, who tend to give out 4 hour windows, only to never show). Their prices depend on the work they do, but considering what kind of work they do, it was a bargain! They're a family owned business that's been around for a long time, so they know the neighborhood and they know their clientele. I highly recommend Dittman Plumbing for San Mateo plumbing problems.
Craig from Bel Carlos Plumbing: 650-574-2800 He's done a variety of work in my home and I have been very pleased. He's fair, answers his phone and returns calls. In addition, he seems to work on Saturday without charging overtime. We needed a minor repair done at our house on Saturday and he came over and fixed it while his dog was being groomed. He's got a good sense of humor, too.

My husband is a plumber for 6 years now and can fix almost any problem. He's pretty cheap too! Tell your friend to email me their phone number at Kim1920@aol.com and I will have my husband call her. He can probably fix the problem that same day and he won't rip you off.
Has your friend already solved their problem? I know a Licensed General Contractor. What type of issue do you have? Perhaps his skills and experience match your needs. Is it a small job that requires experience in maintenance, or a larger job that requires permits and retrofitting?
