You might want to try the Beading Frenzy in San Mateo. They have an assortment of kits but also amazing loose items that you could maybe create a custom-basket with all of her favorite colors...? I've attached their webcard below. Good thoughts for a speedy recovery to the young patient!
Hi! I don't know this for sure, but perhaps some of the local nail salons have "to go" or take-home art that you could purchase? I've attached a few webcards for you to check out. You didn't say where you live, but for beadwork, Michael's Crafts and Beading Frenzy (both in San Mateo) would offer some great stuff.
