I've had various sports related injuries dating back to 1986. The injuries include both knees (total 3 surgeries and 4 injuries), both shoulders, neck, broken hip, torn achilles and compressed low back disk. I've been to physical therapy with at least 5 different PT places, including two others here on the peninsula. I'm just concluding my third round with Apex. I think I was one of their very first clients when Dave first started out on his own (I'd met Dave at his previous employer and really liked him so when I got injured a year later I looked him up and found out where he'd gone). Apex has since grown into a much bigger, better equiped facility and even added another location. But the personal attention hasn't changed at all. My rehabs with Apex now include therapy following Achilles Tendon Rupture (snowboarding), Broken Hip (motorcycle) and now a pinched nerve in my neck (unknown origin). The facility is always clean, has a great selection of equipment, the people are upbeat and encouraging, and they make it enjoyable to go to therapy. I have also sent 3 friends/acquaintances to Apex when they were hurt. All have reported back that they had similarly excellent experiences. I suspect I'll end up back at Apex again at some point in the future, and I'm glad to see them having the success to ensure they'll be there when I need them. If you are hurt, go see the pros at Apex. Kim, John, Dave, Tony and Robyn will take great care of you.
