You might want to go to B Street Billiards on Wednesday Evenings for Open Mike Night. It is off the street local musicians but I've heard some really good players in there. There is also the Casbah on B street but it's mostly hip hop and latin music if that's your thing. They are trying to change to a more diverse musical selection and they had a Jazz Party on Friday the 27th before Halloween. Several other restauraurants and Bars periodically offer live music.
