I went here about a month ago with a friend as a walk-in. Not my usual place, which was packed, but a nearby place that I decided to check out. Aesthetically, it was nothing spectacular -- it lacked the usual warm colors, music, and other sensories associated with self-pampering. It also took a long time -- they were short staffed and my friend was done with hers just as I was starting mine, so she had to wait. The place also needs to have better ventilation; you could smell the manicure chemicals. The staff, however, was extremely pleasant, and nearly three weeks later, my pedicure looks incredibly clean and near-new. The polish quality is very good, with hardly any chipping or fading. I am curious about their San Carlos location (30% off for new clients). If you don't mind bypassing the usual pamperfest, this is a decent location with decent prices (my ped was $25.00 and I got a great leg massage, too).
