Good cut
I have thick hair and am always pleased with my cut, but it is a very basic short men's haircut... Nothing very special. The lady who cuts my hair there is Ellen Velichko. She has cut my wife's and my hair for 5 years or so.

Nice hair salon with easy parking
Strands has been in San Mateo for quite some time, so you know it's a reputable salon. The interior was recently remodeled, and you feel comfortable inside. Each stylist is different, so it's hard to review them all, but I'm quite happy with mine and the service and cuts are always great. Plenty of easy parking in the lot out front make it a painless visit.
