Nice service, meal, evening
While everyone else was recovering from the weekend bowl games, I enjoyed a nice meal out with some friends at the Bistro. It wasn't very crowded so we were able to actually hold an audible conversation (usually the tables are a bit too close). The food, as usual, was solid. One of the steaks we had was a bit dry, but the perfect wine pairing saved the day. Good service, especially because a "slow" evening customer-wise usually means overbearing waitstaff. citykitty's review

Slow but delicious
If you've got some time to kill, Central Park Bistro is the perfect place to linger in between meals, or, as it turns out, during. On a very non-busy Wednesday night, we found the service to be rather slow but professional and courteous. The modest menu is tasty (try the warm beet salad) and the prices very reasonable, with a strong and complementary wine list. Unfortunately we were somewhat in a hurry and needed to be a bit more swift than the waitstaff, but if you've got a few hours to enjoy your meal (as it should be), CPB is a nice spot, especially if the weather bekons you to dine al fresco.
