run to the hilltop
There are multiple taquerias in San Mateo, but I believe that none of them have anything on La Cumbre, not even Pancho Villa. Not only does The Hilltop have a mechanical pony that no longer works out in front, but it also makes traditional Mexican comida that is super hip... and they sell t-shirts, how could you go wrong.

The Best Mexican!
I love this place. On multiple occasions I've had great good. They have the best chicken around, the salsa is great, and the service is fast. It's great for a quick lunch where the focus is the food. I love it all, but I've had better guacamole.
