I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of her cup cakes. My goodness! Someone brought a dozen or so into the office, they were smaller and I thought humm, what sort of cup cake is this? Well what a treat I was in for@!!
This would make a great treat for a kids birthday party or even for an lunch meeting at the offfice. Cant wait till the next dozen comes my way!
After tasting Sibby's cupcakes, I'll never order a regular bakery cake again! These are the cutest, most delicious things I've ever had. In a totally different league than other bakeries. I like to bake and think that homemade is the way to go, but these are BETTER than homemade!

These are considered your gourmet variety. The cupcakes are moist and melts in your mouth. The cake is just right, a bit of flavor. The frosting is a bit much, unless you have a sweet tooth. But if it wasn't for the frosting it would be perfect for me. But as far as cupcakes go, this is the Perfect Cupcake. I prefer the smaller cupcakes, that way I can try a variety of flavors without getting a sugar overload. Too bad Sibby's is just order only, since they're so close to where I work. But that's good for my health, less sugar, less fat. The best cupcakes!!!
The cupcakes are absolutely wonderful, and decorated beautifuly. A perfect place to go if you have a sweet tooth. Yummy!
Sibby's Cupcakery make Wonderful pastries. its a homey place and they offer many choices. They makes everything by hand and that is just really cool.

Wow... what a fantastic cupcake. My company was nice enough to order a bunch of Sibby's cupcakes for a work event recently, and everyone loved 'em. I had chocolate on chocolate. In appearance, it kinda reminded me of those dolly madison cupcakes from my childhood with the white corkscrew line up the middle - you remember the ones... but this cupcake tasted heavenly. I would say that this is the best cupcake I have ever eaten. No joke. Kudos to you Sibby.
I would recommend these delicious treats to anyone! Wonderful variety and beautiful display. Sibby is a treat herself.
I'm usually that annoying person that turns down sweets and chocolate and desserts. However, I cannot resist a visually captivating Cupcake from Sibby's.
Perfect packaging, smooth ribbons, and generously decorated cupcakes. I like the fact that Sibby and her gang are very detail-oriented. Last time I picked up a sampler dozen of the Minis, they made sure that I knew which flavors were included in that batch. They even gave me little no-slip rubber mats to place under the cake boxes so that they wouldn't slide around my car in transit. Isn't that thoughtful?!?
My sister brought some home the other day and I have to say, the cupcakes were très cute AND delicately delectable. This place is worth checking out!
I just had my first Sibby's cupcake a few days ago. All I can say is ... yummy! I'm not sure what sizes she makes them but these were the minis and they were delicicious!

What's better than delicious? Whatever that word is, that's what I want to say about Sibby's cubcakes. They are moist and rich, and they are beautiful, too. Got some friends you want to impress and still look casual about it? Nothing can do that better than a platter of Sibby's. And seriously, who doesn't like cupcakes?
I recommend the sampler, and then DO try each one. Get to know each other. Form a relationship.
I also recommend the full-size cupcakes rather than the minis; the cake-to-icing ratio is perfect.
My favorite desert, hands down, is cake. So when I found out we had our very own local Cupcakery right here is San Mateo I was ecstatic. And now that I know how amazing these little creations are I'm going to be looking to celebrate the slightest of occasions so I can place my next order.
They don't have a storefront so you need to order these by email or by phone. They are priced by the dozen. I tried the sampler of the mini size cupcakes which are perfect 3 bite delights. And the smaller size means you only feel 1/3rd the guilt for trying 2 or 3 or 4. There was an amazing assortment of flavors. Carrot Cinnamon, Lemon-Ginger, Chocolate with Cream Cheese, and Vanilla Buttercream. Try these for your next special occasion. Not only are they delicious but also really beautiful. Check out the gallery of photos on their attached webcard. They are a little on the expensive side but this is definitely a case of getting what you pay for. And Sibby is so friendly and genuine that I feel good supporting this local bakery.
I just met Sibby... And her awesome cupcakes. She was very nice and let us tell her all about Smalltown, and we left with a couple dozen Sibby Samplers.
The cupcakes are a real treat. Obviously freshly baked, very tasty, and beautifully designed. I'm glad my daughter is an excuse to buy more and sneak a few for myself.
This is a true San Mateo "best kept secret". Her shop is hidden near the railroad tracks. You have to order your cupcakes ahead of time and pick them up or have them delivered. The next time you have a meeting, birthday or dinner party, consider contacting Sibby's Cupcakery to liven up the occassion.
