We had such a great experience with Chris. I really cannot say enough positive things about him. He was attentive, responsive, knowledgeable and so kind. We really trusted him, and he helped us sell our home this summer, when the market really took a dive. He did a great job, was persistent and creative and in the end, really saved the day.

To say that you went above and beyond with us Chris is to say too little. When Billy and I decided that it was time for us to move we didn’t even hesitate to contact you first. We knew that you were not only our neighbor, a local expert and an honest person ..even more importantly we knew that you had the type of commitment level and patience we needed in a partner. I say partner because that’s what you were. You talked us down from many ledges and you always maintained a professional and positive outlook regardless of the volatility of the market and the constant “drama” that the Alhorn’s provided you—between Billy and I and the 5 yr old twins—it was a handful—and you never let us believe anything but that we were your #1 priority—that’s class! You were there for every critical decision—you listened, delivered on a timely basis, and provided a service that we expected and needed. You were on call for us at any time and even on occasion provided us with tools to help us get our home ready for sale—true partner. It was a pleasure working with you and although it got rough at times we knew that in the end we were going to be alright because we had you on our side and knew you would represent us with all good intentions…Thanks, Thanks and Thanks again…and I know you will always be someone we can count on in the future as well !!! We met Chris Eckert while he was touring the Hayward Park neighborhood two years ago. We soon purchased a home in Oregon, and told Chris we planned to move in two or three years. Chris would periodically stop by and drop off materials on home sales in the area. When we finally decided it was time to sell in San Mateo, we contacted Chris. He was extremely knowledgeable on how to price and stage the house, as well as having a great network of people to provide services needed to get the place in perfect shape for sale. When we finally listed the house for sale, we had more than 100 real estate agents tour, and more than 20 scheduled buyer tours. Ten days after listing, we had several offers and accepted oe that was above the listing price. Though a traumatic experience after living in our home for 28 years, Chris made everything go smoothly. We couldn't have done it without him!
Chris worked with us in selling our house - he asked specifically on what we wanted in an agent up front and delivered on every request and then some. If I'm ever looking for another house in the area, I'll look to work with Chris again. In the meantime, I will continue to recommend Chris to friends moving into the area.

I have lived in the same house for 40 years and have seen my share of real estate agents. Most drop off a notepad or calendar with their name plastered on them. Chris drops off 8-page reports of home sales in the area! If we ever sell, we will definitely talk to Chris.
