The minute I walked into the door I was greeted by their extremely nice employees. They informed me about their upcoming tournaments, their try before you buy policy where you can play any of the games in the store before you buy them to make sre you like them, and how I can preorder games before they come out. They have an club card that can get you very nice discounts on used merchandise, and extra money on trade in games you don't play anymore. I got to trade in all my old games and get new ones in return, all from a very knowledgeable staff and a very comfortable shopping enviornment. Will definitely come back again!
The staff was very nice, and seemed pretty knowledgable.
But still just your average game shop.
It's a neat concept, but I don't know how effective it is.
I took my son and his friend to PlayNTrade today. We were immediately greated when we walked in the door. The boys were encouraged to try some games on the in-store consoles. I spent some time talking with one of the owners of the store. The store is nicely laid out. I noticed customers can walk around without bumping into people trying out the games. All-in-all it was a very pleasant experience. Their Grand Opening is Dec 1st and 2nd. They also gave a "good grade" discount on the games we bpught.
