We have tried other places that are closer to us but none give the
quality of service that Paw Spa does. Our Gracie enjoys her time there. She is clean, groomed and happy when we pick her up. She even gets some play time when she is there. Who could ask for more!!!!
I was recommended to bring my puppy there & I had a great experience. They did a terrific job on the grooming!! My dog also looked like she was having a great time just like a doggy playgroup.
I felt very comfortable leaving here there.
After weeks of searching for a groomer for our (8) month old puppy and not having much luck, we were referred by word of mouth to The Paw Spa Salon. We were delighted with the experience; friendly staff; plenty of parking; convenient location; personal and genuine service! We will be there this Saturday with our older dog!!
These folks are professional and super friendly! As a first timer for DIY dog bathing, they not only showed me the ropes, but showed me how the pros get matted hair out from my long-haired flat coated retriever. My 2 yr old was even entertained while mom learned :-) a real bargin at $15. I'll be back every month.
A friend highly recommended this new salon in the Olympic village by Mollie Stones, and we were not disappointed. Our rat terrier, Casey, is quite skittish of other dogs (and water), but Kristen was very gentle and kind, which put Casey at ease. She left the salon clean and happy! They did a GREAT job trimming her nails. From the moment we made the appoinment, they were professional, competent, and caring. I would highly recommend them.

I'll say it again - the Paw Spa Salon rules. I took my Rat Terrier, Casey, in for a full groom and she looks & smells terrific! This is the third time I've gone there, and Kirsten & Chris consistently achieves great results with gentleness. They do an excellent job on Casey's nails and paws. I've been to other groomers that either trims the nails too much or too little; here they trim them to the correct length. Also, they trim the hair between the pads on the paws - not all do.
A few months ago, in between grooming appointments, I went in to ask them about preventing my dog from getting fleas in addition to applying Frontline. They were genuine in their caring and
generous about giving me advice (using Cedar chips in the yard, etc.).
Again, I would HIGHLY recommend them - Casey does too.

The people at Paw Spa Salon are wonderful. They're really friendly to dogs and humans alike. The dogs are not kept in cages; they're allowed to wander around and play with other dogs before and after their baths. And my dog loves going there! Thanks Kristen and Chris!

We took Henry to the Paw Salon and have nothing but wonderful things to say. My boyfriend was extremely specific about the length that we would like on your 9 year old Yorkie Henry. The paw salon gave Henry the perfect haircut! My boyfriend could not stop talking about how great a job they did for weeks! Henry was also pretty pleased, he strutted through the neighborhood with his head held high. :) He looked great, his fur felt great, and he sure looked like he felt great. I highly recommend the Paw Salon.
Just brought my dog Beau to the Paw Spa. WOW! He looks the best he has ever looked! Everyone was so friendly and nice. Beau tends to be a bit vocal sometimes, but they even put up with that. On the way home he told me how well he was treated! The people at the Paw Spa did a great job. I will definitely be bringing Beau back...if they will have him - I'll bring them some earplugs next time! - grin! Thanks so much Paw Spa!
I brought my handsome wire haired fox terrier for a wash and brush, expecting only that. I got so much more. Not only did Kirsten do a superb job at making my boy look dashing, she lovingly and thoughtfully did a thorough body inspection. She discovered he had two hot spots, and observed that he preferred nail grinding to nail cutting. When I picked up my darling pooch he was in an open area (not in a kennel which he and I hate) which I very much appreciated and he was not visibly stressed as he usually is after grooming. I highly recommend Kirsten if you are looking for a groomer who obviously loves dogs (I've wondered about some other groomers I've seen), is a talented groomer and who goes beyond just washing and clipping. Thank you Kirsten, you're awesome.
I have two doodles and they are a handful. They are constantly rolling around in the dirt, so they are always dirty. Paw Spa does a great job at cleaning and grooming them. Not to mention they are not the easiest dogs to groom. So I recommend you take your puppies and dogs to the Paw Spa, the people there are very nice and they do a great job!
I took my pug to The Paw Spa Salon last week and she came back to me happy, clean and smelling great. She can now sleep in bed with us ; -) They also did a very cute follow up thank you card with a Pug on the front. 5 paws!
The Paw Spa Salon is airy and attractive. The dogs can interact, which my white poodle mix, seemed to enjoy. She came out looking beautiful and acting happy!
The folks did a masterful job on my Springer Spaniel. Highly Recommended! He was long overdue for a grooming and he was done in a flash, and looked great.
It only took one phone call to this boutique spa for me to know these folks must go the extra mile for their clients. I phoned with a skunked dog and they gladly reassured me they would take care of the problem. And they did! Our dog returned to us absolutely beautiful - not only was most of the skunk smell gone but they did a phenomanal job grooming him, too. They used natural products, didn't muzzle him and loved him as if he was their own. Thank you, Paw Spa - I am happy to recommend your services.
WOW! My puppy looked amazing after she was bathed at the paw spa salon, her coat was so shiny. I have taken her places before and never has she looked so good. My dog has long hair and they did an amazing job, she is also a scaredy cat and she loves when I take her there!!!
I visited Paw Spa Salon last month and my pug/poodle mix came out looking like a Princess. The groomer did an excellent job on her and paid careful attention to the instructions I gave regarding getting her trimmed in all the right places in preparation for her surgury the following week.
It is clear that they care a great deal about dogs and I will never go back to my old groomer again. There is plenty of parking and I had no problem getting her an appointment on short notice. I won't hesitate to recommend Paw Spa to others.

I took my dog, Lexi, to The Paw Spa Salon today and am so happy I did! My dog went into the Paw Spa Salon this morning looking like she hadn't been groomed in her entire life and left looking like a SHOW DOG! In the past, she's left every grooming facility to which I've ever taken her hyper and discontent... as if the experience was pure torture. Such was not the case here ~ SHE CAME OUT LOOKING BEAUTIFUL AND IN GREAT SPIRITS ~ as if she'd spent her time there with friends she'd known forever! I couldn't have asked for more! Unbelievably great grooming, superb customer service and all at a fantastic price! I'll never take her to another groomers again!!! :)
I found out about Paw Spa 2 months ago from my vet, and we really like the place; it’s clean, and the people are friendly, and most of all, my 16 years old dog Mauo Mauo does not get all stress out after the hair cut like before. Thank you Paw Spa ~~
Mom brought me in because she said that I needed a "makeover." Personally, I liked my almost dredlock look and thought I smelled just fine...Sure, at the dogpark, no one wanted to play with me, at least not after they smelled me, but I told myself that I had my person so who needed them? I was a little unsure of this "salon" place, but when I heard Jessica ask if she could give me treats, I knew I was going to like it here! After some washing, drying, brushing and cutting, I felt like a new pup (and looked like one too!) Now when I go to the dogpark I'm the most popular girl there! A fantastic place. I stopped in just to see what the place had to offer and made an appointment for my old american eskimo, Nikki to be given a bath and a trim. Because of her two collapsed disk, I have been bathing her myself for the last two to three years. What I really want was the mats to be cut off and I was not too concerned with what she looked liked. Jessica is a fantastic groomer. She was very gentle with Nikki and made Nikki BEAUTIFUL. Tipper looked and smelled like a dream... We took her up to Northstar two days after her grooming and EVERYONE complimented her on her beautiful coat. I was nerous leaving my girl (20 month old Bernese Mountain Dog) with strangers. They were understanding, let us check it out first, and were kind overall. I checked in once unannounced and my girl was calmly flirting with the young man who works there and did not even need a tether. She was shinny and beautiful when they were finished.

Not only are you immediately greeted with a smiling face upon entrance, whether it's your first time there or you’re a returning client, you are automatically overcome with the great feeling that you've landed in the hands of people who truly care about your pet. The spa/salon is impeccably clean and the groomers there are unsurpassed! I personally take my teacup Pomeranian, Annie, to "Jessica", one of the groomers there, who is without a doubt one of the best groomers, if not THE BEST, groomer to whom I've ever had to pleasure of knowing. She, not unlike the rest of the staff at The Pet Spa Salon, is extremely knowledgeable and treats every dog that is lucky enough to land in her hands as if it were her own! It isn't often that you can walk away from a grooming facility with the utmost confidence that your pet will be cared for from head-to-toe with loving care and unmatched professionalism. Personally, I think of my dog, Annie, as my canine "daughter" and the very last thing I would ever consider doing would be to leave her in the hands of people I didn't feel had her very best care in mind. Once you've met the people and experience the care that your pet receives at The Paw Spa Salon, you'll never think to take your dog anywhere else! 5 stars simply aren't enough for this place!
Always clean, my dogs are treated very, very well, the service is professional, the owners and staff are always courteous. Great atmosephere for the animals. Definitely would recommend to friends and co-workers

Until I found The Paw Spa Salon, no other place gave my Pomeranian a good grooming. I was so happy when this place opened up right around the corner from my home and I was even more happy when I picked up my dog after getting her groomed here and she looked fabulous! Everyone there is very professional and friendly. They even sent "Daisy" a Christmas and birthday card. Noone ever did that for her before. Daisy is only getting groomed at this place from now on! :)
I just spent the afternoon with my new best "human" friends at The Paw Spa - what fun! It was my first visit and certainly won't be my last. My mom and dad say I smell so clean and feel nice and soft. I really enjoyed my bath and pedicure! I made some new dog friends, too, and got to run around and play with squeaky toys before and after my bath. I was actually sad when my mom and dad returned to pick me up to go home. We checked out The Paw Spa on Sunday. We used the "self wash" option. We found the place very clean, staff VERY friendly and helpful. They assisted us in making Winston feel at ease while in the new enviroment. We have been to places like this but find this is the best by far. We will be back!
I have two dogs: a 90 lb. male yellow lab named Doogan and a 20 lb. male American cocker spaniel named Sammy. Doogan doesn't require cuts but is a beast to manage while bathing. Chris expertly handles Doogan and eliminates his bathing anxiety completely. Sammy does require cuts; and I prefer field cuts due to his highly-active, outdoor lifestyle. Finding a skilled groomer who can perform an excellent cut (field, show, or otherwise) is a challenge. Kirsten and Jessica do an absolute amazing job with him and I pick him up looking perfect every time! They both enjoy being there (and enjoy seeing their buddies Sierra and Aussie when they can). Chris and Kirsten are true dog lovers and it shows by their handling and care of my canine kids. Their facility is beautiful as well; and the grooming area is wide open to viewing for owners with an impressive setup. A couple extra perks: it is open on Sunday (when no one else is), and they use an awesome product line called Earthbath (all natural and hypo-allergenic with a shampoo type to meet any dog's skin needs). I won't take my dogs anywhere else. I highly recommend to anyone who truly loves their dogs and wants them to receive 5-star treatment without paying exorbitant prices.
Found the Paw Spa on the internet and called. From the first contact they were friendly and caring. I brought my two mini aussies down that day. The groomer immediately made them feel comfortable, talking and playing with them. They marched back without a peep. The owners were very friendly too, making me comfortable leaving my "babies" with them. When I picked them up, Shelby and Tori knew they looked great! They were prancing and proud. They were sooo soft too! I will definitely be bringing them back to the Paw Spa! They did a great job. Thanks!
The Paw Spa Salon is the best!! Buddy and I have been searching for the perfect "salon" for him and finally we found it on 42 Ave. I love the fact that the Spa is so clean and spacious and Buddy loves everyone there -- they are so friendly and have the greatest customer service skills. Buddy even received a Christmas card from Jessica. Plus he was picked up at home and taken to his appointment -- now for me that is service. I've taken my husky, Mishka, to the Paw Spa Salon twice since they opened recently and it's the best grooming place she's ever been to. She's skittish around water so I didn't know how it would go. The owners are fabulous and she's gotten great baths. The place is super clean and spacious and you can see them working on the dogs....no behind closed doors service. I'll definitely continue taking Mishka to them.
What a unique environment and how clean and spacious this place is. My dog seemed to have an extra spring in his step. I was treated like family there. I have recommend the Paw Spa to my family, friends and clients.
I took my 11 yr old westie here. They treated him great. My dog is blind and diabetic. They were gentle and gave him no treats and followed exactly what I asked for his cut and clarify my instructions and were very timely. Prices were very good. Defintely going again.
I've been bringing my Weimaraner, Sterling, to the Salon and I've received excellent customer service everytime. The owners always make me feel as if i'm a relative visiting over the holidays and takes care of my dog as if their own. I know i'll return.

The Paw Spa is a wonderful place for your loved ones. The atmosphere is warming , the groomers are professional and the owners are kind with great customer service skills. My pugg Sugar Pie can get a little crazy but they knew exactly how to claim her down and make her feel safe. When Sugar Pie leaves there she looks like a million dollars. In the end that is all we want for our pets and the salon we take them to. I highly recommend this place.

Great Job!!!! I live in South Lake Tahoe, CA. I travel to San Mateo once a month and I always travel with my dog. A friend email me your page, she is also is a dog lover and has two dogs, she talks very highly about your services and the loving way you treat your four legged customers. So I decided to try your services, which I must say your are wonderful and the products you use are excellent. You use organic product and I must tell you my dog notice the difference. After a week she still smells fresh and her coat is very soft and very important to me is that she doesn't scratch herself. Here in Tahoe the climate is very dry and she scratch a lot, but with the oatmeal/chamomile organic shampoo you used on her made the difference. So from now on once a month when I go to San Mateo I hope you can make a little room to groom Hedy. I will not have Hedy groom in Tahoe any more. I do not know exactly what day of the month I go to San Mateo, but I hope you will make a little room to groom Hedy, your services and your products are excellent. Keep-up the good job!!!
