I had so much fun during camp couture!!!!! It was so great I suggested it to all my friends and am looking forward to taking it again. located down the street from joanns, it is so easy and convenient to just pick up some more fabric when you run out or if you want to start a new project. At couture camp I was able to make 2 makeup bags and a cool cape(i know what you are thinking, and no, not like superman)
For child or teen looking for sewing lessons Camp couture is the camp for you. Trust me on that one.
On the first day of camp i pretty much learned how to load my sewing machine. By the second day i learned how to sew pajama pants and a beach bag it was so fun! By the third day i learned how to sew a zipper it was so awesome. Anyone who wants to learn how to be a fashion designer should sign up for this camp.
This class is a good way of learning the basics of sewing and the construction of garments. I learned a great deal about using the machine along with learning how to use different cloths and patterns. It has a great environment for anyone to learn- I am a senior in highschool and enjoy this class as much as everyone else. I learned how to translate my own designs into real life garments that i could wear right out of the class. I'm really glad i took this class!

camp couture is the best

My 14yo daughter Ashley has just finished her first Camp Couture and cannot wait to do another. I was very surprised with her excitement, how much she learned, and her pride in the finished product at the end of the camp.

Just in TWO weeks Ive learned everything!!!!Ive made amazing clothe I didnt think Ill make!!!! This camp is sooo much fun!!!!! believe it or not, the teacher is the best!!!! dont think she is one of thouse borng old ladys that talk all day, she is SOOO cool!!!! and you get free food!!! Ill DEFINITLY come back!!
Alex's camp couture was so much fun and i learned so much stuf it was a great experience! After my camp with her im now taking classes and theyr tha best adventorous classes iv had! I deffinitely recommend this camp or classes from Alex.
i sent my daughter who is 12years old to Alex's summer camp couture to learn sewing threee weeks ago. i am so impressed my daughter leared so much and had so much fun there. everydays she came back , she was very happy and couldn't wait to show me the things she made from the camp couture; she loved to go there. she said alex was a great teacher to her; alex was very patient and nice and always encouage her to explore her design ideas. now my daughter already requests to go to the winter camp couture with Alex again. i am so glad my daughter could find something she enjoys to do so much. Alex makes that happened. thank you so much. furthermore, the price Alex checks is very fare after comparing with other camps ;and it is worth to spend on my child. my child and me both think Alex's camp couture is the best. and Alex, she is a great teacher with children. my child loves her.
Alexandria's camp couture is one of the best camps my daughter has been to. Alex is incredibly understanding with children and approaches her proffesion with a proffessional attitude. Alexandria has also allowed my daughter to participate in a professional photo shoot, which gave her(my daughter) insight into the backstage aspect of fashion and a realistic viewpoint of a fashion career. This has tremendously helped my daughter decide what career path she wants and has ultimately helped develop her confidence.
