I love shopping here for gifts - for others or myself! I have found gifts other than flowers and of course, their arrangements are fresh and beautiful. The bouquets are not skimpy, wilting or otherwise - I am not reluctant at all to give someone flowers from here - and that includes ordering over the phone. The staff is friendly and knowledable as well. Just writing the review, I can imagine the heady smell of blooming flowers in this beautiful shop. I'm happy to have found them. Parking is available in the back or the front as well.
I recently ordered flowers for a friend from San Mateo Florist. I was initially dubious about purchasing from here, because the woman told me over the phone that she could have the arrangement "done within 10 minutes." I opted to wait and pick it up the next day, because I wanted fresher flowers. Still somewhat skeptical, I took a chance and was relieved when out came a beautiful arrangement of flowers, many of which were still budding and would continue to bloom. My friend was delighted at the bouquet and even two weeks later was still enjoying it. I will definitely try this florist again.
