These are great burgers, and at a good price.
A great place to take a date before or after a movie which is only a half a block away.
I recommend it and will definatly go back myself.
I love eating at Jeffrey's! It's the best place to get a burger the way you want it. Nice homey feel of a 50"s style diner. I can always count on great service and my order to be done just the way I like it.
Simply that, you won't find a better burger. The fries are good too. Semi-quick servies, but consistently great quality. Highly recommended.
So everbody loves this place. Me? Not so much. A few days ago I ordered some food to-go, and while the phone service was prompt (and rushed), it was nearly :45 minutes from order to pickup. My son raved about his hot dog, but the onion rings were soggy and cold, as were the french fries. Perhaps I would have had a better experience had I dined in, so I'm going to give it another shot.
Jeffrey's is by far the best burger in the Bay Area. They offer a build your own add-ons to finish off your master piece just the way you like it. Jeffrey's is suited for families as well as the business person that needs a quick lunch. They have a new location in Menlo Park that is fantastic. You can't beat the service or the product.
Jeffery's was one of the very first resturaunts that I visited in San Mateo and I was very impressed. All of the employee's are very friendly and and the food always taste amazing!

How exciting... Jeffrey's is planning to open a new location in Menlo Park! Awesome news for those of us living a bit further south! Apparently they will be setting up shop on El Camino near Ravenswood in a few months.

I love this place. Anytime I want a hamburger I go to Jeffrey's. It's fast, friendly, and the burgers are delicious. I usually invite kids from my youth group to meet me there for a burger. There's space in the back that's psuedo outdoors. The fixin's bar has pretty much anything you could want on a hamburger. For 8 bucks you get s burger, soda, fries. Yum! I've been here many times and will continue to go.
Literally the best burger in town. With all the trimmings; great sides, great fries. The salads are huge, too boot. Very nice people. Always active and exciting.
It's really all about the milkshakes! They use real ice cream and the texture is pleasantly thick. I've noticed they don't always hand out the left overs from the metal mixing container. Hint: don't order the same flavor as your date because they'll just pour into two glasses. If you order different flavors you're more likely to get those left overs.
Jeffrey's has great salads, and a nice selection of burgers and sandwiches. The prices are reasonable. It gets crowded at lunch, so for faster service, go before noon.
This is a long time favorite of mine. I highly recommend their pineapple teriyaki burger as a refreshing change of pace. The decorations are wonderful and the system of paying first, adding your own condiments, and lightning-fast service all combine for one great burger joint.
I hear the hamburger, fries and shakes are great, but I always have to order the baby lettuce salad with chicken. It's addicting.
The menu is small and perfect. You can get a burger a hot dog or a salad. They are all excellent. The burger is cooked to perfection and then you get to visit the topping bar and build your perfect burger. The milkshakes are excellent. I also really love the salads on days when a burger seems too heavy. Jeffrey's makes the perfect french fries. The atmosphere is '50 diner and this restaurant just works.
THEY HAVE WONDERFUL BURGERS AND ALSO DELICIOUS SALADS. IT IS ALWAYS CLEAN IN THERE AND THE ATMOSPHERE IS GREAT. A GREAT PLACE FOR A FAMILY TO GO TO ON A FRIDAY NIGHT!! :)
This place has avocado burgers to die for. I wouldn't really die for it but this burger would be the one that did it if I were to ever die for one.
If you are looking for a place that has great comfort food, Jeffrey's is it. Their grilled cheese sandwiches are just like Mom used to make. Yum!
the food here is just great! its the best fries, shakes, adn burgers taht you can ever have in your life. its convieniently next to the train station, movie theaters, adn just great! you can never have enough of jeffery's burgers!
The milkshakes are GREAT and they are well priced considering how much you get, definetly ask to have it split between two people. Fries are good too.

in this area we have a lot of good chinese and mexican restraunts but not many good places to get a burger jefferys in my opinion is the ONLY place to go. so go get a burger at jefferys. also their shakes are to die for especially the strawberry ones! it makes me hungry just thinking about it
Its always busy and loud but it is a great place to go with friends. The food is good and it is a fun place for teenagers and adults

Stop by Jeffrey's Hamburgers because they have really good classic burgers that taste great along with their really good fries and milkshakes. The prices can be high sometime but it is worth it! Really good place to eat at..I would reccomend it to anyone.
If you just feel like having a nice traditional burger, fries, and a milkshake, you should defintely try Jeffrey's. The only thing that I don't enjoy about this place is the price, but it's worth it in the end!

Jeffery's is a great classic place to get a burger. Its not fast food and it not expensive and it welcomes teens what more could you ask for. The food is always good and the always keep track of there costumers.
GREAT FOOD! Everything is great, I never thought an American food joint can be this GREAT, but it is. Wide variety of food. Little expensive, but well worth it. Great place to grab a bite with friends, befor seeing a movie at Century. Chocolate milkshake are great.

jeffrey's a homey, traditional burger joint. its location is perfect, close to the movie theaters and close to el camino. perfect for a great, cheap meal.

Jeffrey's Hamburgers has a nice atmosphere with great food. Even though its foods are sometimes a tad bit expensive, it is all worth it when you try the delightful hamburgers or french fries or soups. This restaurant is a good place to go before/after going to the movies!

When i want a cheeseburger, two places come to mind. Jeffrey's is one of those two. If your in the mood for something a lot more satisfying than a puny little fast food burger, Jeffrey's is the place to go. The cashiers are friendly (and quick). The wait isn't terribly long either. And when the food comes you know it's going to be delicious. If you like mushrooms, they make excelent mushroom cheeseburgers. And their fries are nice and crispy as well. It's gonna cost you a little bit more than a fast food joint but its totally worth it.
Everytime I come it has been great. They have great hamburgers and Milk Shakes!! Yummy!!! If you love hamburgers you need to go and try one. They have a many choices!!!

My favorite stop for a good old burger. The better the burger the faster it runs down your arm! Try them with peppers! He makes his hamburger none of that frozen patty crap here!
Okay only the "fast food" burgers are bad for you and this is not fast food. If you want a really good burger and they grind there own sirlion to make the beef, this place is on the map! Oh you get to make the burger with as much of your favorite toppings! Give them a try, they are busy during peak lunch and dinner times but I think you will like it. And I found it to be indigestion free.
We ate there last night and the food was delicious! I think I had more stuff on my burger than the burger itself HA HA HA what a deal a family of 4 eats for $20.

Jeffrey's is the best place to grab a quick burger. The place is full of San Mateoans on their lunch break as well as families. The meat is always FRESH and they offer lots of fresh goodies (avacodo, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes...etc) that are also Fresh and of the highest quality. Staff is very personable, friendly and the place is extremely efficient and well run. My orders are always quick, and exactly what I ordered. Can't go wrong if you love a good burger! Prices are great, too!

This is a traditional burger joint, juicy burgers that run down your sleeve. More topping than anyone would ever need. THE BEST in town (and been awarded that too) Service is fast, the place is clean and employees are friendly and make just want you want!!!
I hate to be the wet blanket, but I've never found Jeffrey's to be all that special. They have a variety, but maybe I'm just spoiled by Southern cooking. Jeffery's is ok, but nothing to write home about. Johnny Rockets is better. I will say that Jeffrey's makes a great chocolate shake.
