Fernando's has a following that is almost cult-like. The surrounding neighborhood dotes on this place. They even have Tex-Mex music and dancing Friday and Saturday evenings. I could just never get my arms around the fact that they use American cheese on some of the meals. I'm sure this place is fun for those that like that kind of experience, and the service wasn't so bad as mentioned in another review, but I just happen to like the more traditional Mexican food some other places have to offer.
Great food, great prices. Service is decent. The only downside is the parking. It sucks. Good luck trying to find a parking space around 6:30pm on a weeknight.
